Story collection
‘Story collection’ is an umbrella term we have coined to describe our approach to community arts. Story collection could be as simple as listening to someone over a cup of tea. It’s about providing the time and space for someone to tell their story.
Accessibility
We are flexible in our approach in order for our projects to be accessible. We continue to come up with practical and creative ways to engage different communities no matter their literacy skill level, language, access requirements or relationship to arts and culture.
Community Lead Work
Everything we create is for and by the communities we work with. Projects are designed around their ideas and their needs. Co-creation is in the fabric of Mustard Stories Arts.
Breaking Barriers
We strive towards working with marginalised and providing access to the arts. In so many of our projects we give a platform to unheard voices to spread awareness of their lived experience so that there might be social change.
